Arden seeks to employ a highly motivated and experienced Administrator to manage school-wide administrative services and operation. With well-honed leadership and team management skills, and strong service ethos, this newly created role provides the opportunity to use not only your process improvement skills but to draw on your operational risk, database management and work, health and safety (WHS) experience.
POSITION PROFILE
As the Administration Manager you will be responsible for:
- Supervision and management of the day-to-day services provided by the School’s P-12 administration
- Providing administrative support for the Executive/Head(s) of School
- Ensuring appropriate support is provided to the administration team to review tasks, improve processes and to further progress the team’s professional development program and training pathways
- Overseeing the ongoing development of WHS policies and processes including the development and review of school activity risk assessments
Essential Requirements
- Completion of a degree level qualification or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training
- Demonstrated experience in a senior administration and service focused role
- Advanced skills in the full suite of MS Office
- Experience with database management and reporting
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to confidently deliver training sessions
- Highly developed skills in exercising diplomacy, discretion and confidentiality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisation and planning skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a service focused environment
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Drivers licence
- Working with Children Clearance
Desirable qualifications
- Experience in overseeing Work Health and Safety compliance and reporting matters
- Synergetic Management System and Schoolbox Learning Management System experience
- Relevant experience in an educational or not-for-profit entity in a similar role is highly
