ACCOUNTS PAYABLE OFFICER
Ongoing full-time position (immediate start)
The Accounts Payable Officer is an integral member of the Business Services Office; reporting and supporting the Finance Manager through to the Director of Business Services.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated history performing an accounts payable role. The role is fast-paced and will handle a high volume of payables ensuring that payments are properly authorised and that payments are made in line with the College’s Financial Governance Document. The role requires a well organised person, who has an understanding of accounting and the reconciliation process. Understanding the importance of cash flow management and making payments in a timely manner is critical.
Appropriate induction is available for the successful candidate. A capacity and willingness to embrace a collegial and collaborative approach as a member of the department is essential.
